.30-30 WCF caliber with 26" barrel. Manufactured in 1908. This is a standard full round rifle in all respects with the takedown feature. Both the barrel and magazine retain approximately 90% of the original factory blue finish. Sporting front sight, but rear sight slot is empty. There are no elevator lines, so it may have had an express sight. There is a little 1-1/2" section of abrasion on top of the barrel. Forend cap has flashes of blue. Frame and takedown ring are a soft gun metal grey. Loading gate exhibits 80% original blue. The original walnut stocks are excellent with no cracks, proud to metal with the majority of the original finish intact. There are some abrasions on top of the comb. Strong clean bore and perfect action. A very nice all original takedown model 1894.
