3-1/2" barrel in .38 Long Colt caliber. This revolver was manufactured in 1888. It now exhibits nearly full coverage highest quality engraving with a full blued finish, gold accents, and carved ivory grips that feature a Straight Flush (card hand) on right panel. The gun retains virtually all of the finish since work was performed. We can find no engraver's signature but the work was extremely well-executed right down to the simple gold line at muzzle and back of cylinder. Bore is strong with some light frosting. Function is flawless both single and double action. There is some light age freckling on the barrel and grip strap, so the work appears to have been done some time ago. All legends are perfect. Beautiful as custom engraved Colt Lightning.
