.38 Special with a 2" barrel. Manufactured 1962 to 1966. This is a very special early factory engraved and gold plated Model 36 Chief’s Special. Standard features include 2” barrel, six shot, double action and chambered for the .38 Special cartridge. It is factory engraved with full gold plate and case colored hammer and trigger. Sports a pair of Pearlite grips. The gold wash is wearing off on all the high spots of gun. Excellent bore and action. Exquisite engraving.
