.38 Super caliber with a 5" barrel. This pistol was manufactured in 1969. It is a standard blued example in all respects with the high polished sides and the matte finished top strap. Gun remains in near new condition retaining approximately 98% of the original factory high polish blue. About the only wear visible is an ever so light drag line, a little wear on the side of the trigger and a minute hint of wear on the muzzle on the side of the slide. The gun is as new inside with all proper parts. Never altered with the exception that it sports a pair of real bone grips that look and feel like real ivory. If you have been watching the prices for Pre-Series 70 Super Automatic 1911 you will surely appreciate this fine pistol.
