Serial number is 19471 and manufactured in 1880. This gun is referred to as the Sheriffs or Store Keepers Model. It is a six shot, double action chambered for the .38 Long Colt cartridge. The barrel measures 3 ½”. The gun features a later full nickel plated finish with black hard rubber grips. Most of the original Colt legends are no longer visible. The gun retains approximately 85% of the re-applied finish. Grips are replacements and are a bit undersized. Double action works but sticky. Single action does not stay locked. Trigger return spring sticks occasionally. Bore is very good.
