Serial number is 270182 and manufactured in 1905. This is a standard model Colt Bisley single action revolver chambered for the .41 Long Colt cartridge with the 4 ¾” barrel and the blue/case finish. The original grips were replaced long ago with a well fitting set of real stags. The entire finish has turned a soft grey brown patina and the front sight has been filed down a bit. Lock up is tight and indexes perfectly. Strong rifling with usual black powder abrasions. Sharp early Bisley and quite handsome with the set of stags.
