.38 Special caliber with a 2" barrel. Manufactured 1931. This example is a very early pre-war, square butt six shot, double action revolver. It has been customized with a bobbed hammer and the front of the trigger guard has been professionally removed, A.K.A. "Fitz Special". The checkered walnut grips are excellent with silver medallions. Gun retains 95% of the re-applied nickel finish. Action and bore are perfect. The Colt pony has feathered out. Fine shooting revolver.
