.38 centerfire with a 3-1/2" barrel. Manufactured mid-1880s. This standard Merwin remains in wonderful all original condition. It is a double action, folding hammer, full rib, five shot, .38 caliber with full factory nickel finish and near mint gutta percha grips. The gun retains approximately 85% original factory nickel finish with very slight cylinder burn indicating gun saw little actual use. It is tight as new. Function is flawless in both single and double action modes. Bore is excellent. One burred screw on left side should be replaced. Otherwise, a very high condition example.
