Serial number is 580110, caliber is .38 S&W special, barrel length is 3". This model is referred to as the Chiefs special. It is built on the J frame and features a five shot double action, blued finish with fixed front site, checkered walnut grips and a lanyard ring. The gun shows virtually no use, retaining all of factory blued finish with a light drag line and comes in the original numbered two piece blue box that lists the gun with the 3" barrel and special feature swivel noted on the box. Fairly scarce special order to find with the special feature and the fact that it's stamped in the crane 36-0. The grips are stamped J.S.Q. inside and are serial numbered to the gun. Rather unusual special order Smith & Wesson. As new condition in and out. Has paper work and cleaning kit.
