.357 magnum cartridge with a 4" barrel. This revolver falls within the serial number range of the 3,000 guns manufactured in 1980 for the New York State Police Department that were never delivered. Features the pinned barrel. It is a double action, six shot, blued finish, case colored hammer and trigger, and silver medallion checkered wood grips. These service guns are built on the N frame, square butt with no rear sight. This revolver is in as new condition with drag line barely visible. Comes in the original blue two-piece box numbered to gun with original paperwork and wax paper. These large N frame service guns have become extremely collectible and should continue to increase in value.
