.38 Smith & Wesson Special with a 3" barrel. This revolver was manufactured in 1968 only, as it does not have the diamond grips ('68) or the "J" prefix ('69). It has the rather scarce 3" barrel and a lanyard swivel, which is mentioned on the matching original box end label numbered to gun. Standard features include blued finish: five shot, double action, checkered silver medallion walnut grips and case colored hammer and trigger. Aside from a light drag line, gun shows as new in original box with tools and paperwork.
