Caliber .22.r.f. barrel length 24" manufactured 1914-1926 Standard Features include: 24" full octagon barrel, half magazine, blued finish, grooved walnut forend, round knob checkered pistol grip walnut stock, curved rifle butt plate, with folding globe adjustable front sight, sporting rear sight and long range adjustable tang sight. Sports the standard blue finish, takedown and is magazine fed. Rifle comes with the original stamped and dated magazine. All metal surfaces are a smooth, clean blue mixing with soft brown patina with flashes of bright blue on frame. The left frame panel is factory engraved with a pointer as is the right side. The walnut stocks are superb with proper wood to metal fit, proud to metal, oil finished with perch belly stock. The bore is excellent, fully functional. The action cannot be closed if the magazine is empty, it must be loaded or removed to test the action. This is a beautiful special order factory engraved deluxe savage. Untouched condition with razor sharp edges, virtually never seen on today's market.
