Serial number is NB0515, barrel length is 12", caliber is .45 Long Colt. This special revolver was produced in 1979 as the Ned Buntline Commemorative New Frontier Single Action Army revolver. This is considered a second generation revolver. A sum total of 3,000 of these revolvers were manufactured. It features a full nickel finish with the eagle black composition grips and the New Frontier flat top with adjustable rear sight. Left side of barrel stamped Ned Buntline Commemorative. Gun is as new in original cardboard box with all paperwork. Having never been fired and does not have evidence of drag line although the nickel may have some minor storage marks. It comes in the original cardboard box with foam hang tag and paperwork. It is housed in the original large cardboard shipping crate that housed the wood custom Colt display case that came with this revolver in 1979. Fine second generation Buntline New Frontier nickel finish in as new condition.
