.30 WCF with a 20" barrel. Manufactured in 1923. Standard features include 20” round barrel, full magazine, post front sight, folding leaf express rear sight (one leaf), saddle ring and stud, walnut stocks and carbine buttplate. Barrel and tube retains fully 95% of the original factory blue finish with strong barrel legend. The frame has turned a gun metal brown patina. There are two tap holes at left side for an old receiver sight. Walnut stocks are excellent, proud to metal, never refinished and show only a few minor abrasions. The buttplate retains approximately 30% original blue. Even the barrel bands retain approximately 50% original blue. Perfect working order. Excellent bore. All screw heads are perfect. This fine old school carbine is housed in an original leather saddle scabbard with straps that are stamped “A.D. Seitzler & Co. Makers Silver City, New Mexico”.
