18-3/4" barrels in .12 bore. Offered is your typical 1880s mail-order side by side shotgun, the type that flooded the market through catalogs like Sears and Wards. Manufactured in Belgium and marketed by Hanover Arms. The barrels were shortened. These were probably the most widely used and the most feared weapons on the Western Frontier. Every stagecoach carried at least one on board. This example is basically brown patina in working condition. Shows its years from being on the trail or on a coach. These are sold strictly as antique artifacts and would not be safe to shoot.
