.38 LC with a 3-1/2" barrel. This revolver was manufactured in 1884. It is referred to as the Sheriff’s or Storekeeper’s Model as it was manufactured without provision for an ejector. Gun retains approximately 90% of the early re-applied nickel finish. The gutta percha grips are very nice, albeit worn smooth on high areas. Cylinder, on two flutes where gun was resting has flaked to a brown patina. Gun is currently not in working order. Excellent bore.
