.22 rimfire with a 20" barrel. The Windchester Model 1906 is rarely, if ever seen with high amounts of original condition. It is in 100% restored condition and literally shows no wear of any kind. Even the slide bar retains all of its blue. There is not even a hint of wear at the muzzle, no freckling, no scratches or scuffs on any area of this rifle (not a one!). There is no high edge wear. The perfect screws have all the polish blue finish. Gumwood stocks are near mint with a couple of minor storage abrasions, and the initials "D.B." are lightly carved on the left wrist, obviously from a previous owner. It has the standard Winchester gutta percha buttplate. All wood is proud to metal. Has the 1904-1914 forend, which is proper. Strong clean bore and perfect action. Popular at the turn of the century with shooting galleries and traveling carnivals.
