.270 WCF with a 24" barrel. This rifle was manufactured in 1950. It is a standard model. Features rear barrel collar with the sight blade removed. Has a ramp front sight with brass bead and hood, Lyman fully adjustable target receiver sight installed (wood not cut), checkered walnut stock with early style straight comb, sling swivels, a newer reproduction Winchester patent 1922 red rubber recoil pad has been applied. 3-3/4" LOP to end of pad. Barrel retains approximately 95% original factory blue with a few minor storage marks and light muzzle wear. The matte finish frame shows just a hint of minor high edge wear at breach. Walnut stocks are excellent with sharp checkering, no cracks or chips, just a couple of minor impressions. Original checkering is sharp as new. Bolt handle has silvered out. Floorplate has light high edge wear. Trigger guard has 60% original blue, thin at front base. Fine old Model 70 in a very popular caliber with the classic stock lines.
