Serial number is 341929, chambered for the .38 S&W cartridge, barrel length is 2". This model is referred to as the Body Guard Air Weight, built on the round butt J frame. Five shot, double action, blued finish with the shrouded hammer, and diamond checkered walnut grips. This model was produced from 1959-1965 and has what collectors refer to as the flat latch cylinder release. The grips are near mint and the gun retains virtually all of the original factory blue and shows very little use except that a quarter inch on the right side of barrel at muzzle has gotten damp and is rusted. There are also spots of rusting on cylinder and some freckling on frame, trigger guard and trigger. It is quite obvious that this gun suffers from moisture damage and not from use. Would still be a fine firearm to use and would benefit from a restoration as a collectors item. Perfect bore and action.
