Offered is a complete London manufactured sporting musket manufactured by Manton that needs some minor attention. It is a ten bore with a 33" part octagon barrel, half stock, percussion, side lock, with engraved buttplate, checkered wood stock. Metal is grey-brown patina. In working condition. Is missing the rod retainers. We have included in this lot for parts a fine rear section from a muzzle loading stock with buttplate and trigger guard in very good condition, an extra barrel that is freckled, a Springfield forend and lock plate with broken wood, and another rear section for a half stock muzzle loader with brass trigger guard. The wood is severely damaged but the metal parts are salvageable. The entire lot should offer good value for the parts alone, and the London sporting musket should not take much work to get it up to snuff.
