Shoots blanks. 14.4" barrel. This is a smaller version of the Model 1891 Carcano Cavalry carbine. They were equipped with a folding bayonet and used for youth training and were given as awards to youth Fascist groups. They fire blanks. Manufactured in the 1930s, this example is marked 1934. Manufactured in Brescia and stamped “F.N.A.”. Has a crest on the bridge. The barrel has freckled brown patina. Frame has matte brown patina. Military style rear sight. Stock number matches frame. Original bayonet still attached. Hardwood stock is excellent and has two manufacturing stamps on left side. This is a presentation model that was given as an award with a plaque on right side for recipient “Lombardo Baldassare”. Very nice all original example of this presentation youth model that is hard to find in such nice condition.
Correction: Removed asterisks. This gun is antique, not modern.
