.38-40 caliber with a 24" barrel. Manufactured in 1903. Standard Winchester model 1892 in a popular caliber, .38-40. Has a 24” full octagon barrel, full magazine, Winchester sporting rear sight, blade front sight, blued finish, walnut stock and rifle butt. The barrel and tube are a nice soft mix of blue-brown patina, but there are several scratches on the barrel. The receiver is all grey with some freckling. Excellent all original wood, proud to metal with no cracks or chips. Extremely clean bore and perfect action.
