.44-40 caliber with a 24" barrel. Manufactured in 1917. Standard Winchester model 1892 in the most popular of all calibers, .44-40. Has a 24” full round barrel, full magazine, replaced Winchester sporting rear sight, standard sporting front sight, blued finish, walnut stock and rifle butt. All metal surfaces are a smooth clean patina with no pitting and strong barrel legend with a dent on the left side of the magazine tube. Excellent all original wood, proud to metal with no cracks or chips and an extra coat of finish added. Extremely clean bore and perfect action.
