Both guns are chambered for the .30-30 cartridge with 26” full octagon barrels, blued finish, walnut stock, shotgun butt plates, gold plated loading port, black enameled frame and forend caps. Both guns have several storage/condition issues. The first gun has rust damage to the frame and was re-enameled; several spots of rust on barrel behind the nose cap; saddle ring is rusted; left side of stock has a burn mark and small crack; 1” chunk at top of comb that has been replaced with a fire burn mark. On the second gun, aside from a 1” patch of light rust on rear sight and 1” patch on barrel, the front half of the rifle shows very nicely. Enamel on frame is original but the right rear side and tang have heavy rust from moisture damage, as does the stock. Both guns have perfect bores and actions. With some switching of parts and some restoration, you should be able to get one really nice rifle out of this pair.
