Caliber .32-20 with a 24" barrel. Manufactured in 1901. Very special semi deluxe model 1892 take down rifle that features the checkered, pistol grip, walnut stock with Winchester logo shot gun butt and Winchester logo grip cap. Standard features include; 24" full octagon barrel, full magazine, blued finish, walnut stocks with original Winchester sporting front and rear sites. The barrel and tube are a smooth blue brown gun metal patina with some light freckling. The frame is a clean soft gun metal patina. 30% original blue on loading gate. The walnut stocks are very good with pronounced factory checkering. No visible cracks. albeit the wood is ever so slightly shy to metal. The action functions perfectly. Pronounced rifling with typical minor erosion. Factory research: shipped 5-7-102. .32 caliber, octagon barrel, take-down, checkered pistol grip.
