Caliber .44-40 with a 20" barrel. Manufactured in 1889. Standard features include; 20" round barrel, full magazine, blued finish, saddle ring and stud, walnut stocks, carbine buttplate, folding ladder, carbine rear site dated 1873. The barrel and tube are gun metal grey having been cleaned. The frame is also a gun metal grey and was cleaned but starting to dull. The walnut stocks are very good, proud to metal, buttstock has been stripped of finish. There is a 1" crack on left side of buttplate. The tang has been cleaned and the model number has been removed. The caliber stamped at breech of barrel has been re stamped. The brass carrier has been cleaned and re-marked. Has a strong clean bore. Operates fine.
