Caliber .338 Winchester magnum with a 24" barrel. This rifle was hand built by renowned custom gunsmith Paul Jaeger of Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. His name and address are stamped on barrel, as well as the quick release scope mounts. Was assembled using a Mauser action. Rifle remains in near new condition and features a blued barrel, ramp front sight with wrap around band, Williams adjustable rear sight, jeweled bolt, finely checkered and polished bolt handle, high polish blued frame, deluxe satin finish checkered walnut stock with black contrasting forend piece and metal grip cap with the rollover cheek piece and Monte Carlo comb. Sports a Pachmayr recoil pad. Topped with a Weaver 3x-9x scope in the offset Jaeger quick release mounts that allow for use of barrel sights. Perfect bore and action. A finely crafted large caliber custom sporting rifle by a premier American artist.
