.45-90 caliber with a 26" barrel. Manufactured 1893. Offered is an extremely fine condition, all original, case colored model 1886 Winchester in fine all original untouched condition in one of the more desirable calibers offered. Features 26” full octagon barrel, full magazine, original Winchester sporting front and rear sights, walnut stock, rifle butt, factory case colored frame, fire blue loading gate and bolt, with blued barrel and tube. The barrel and tube retain fully 85-90% of the original factory blue finish. Barrel legend is strong. The magazine retainer has approximately 60% finish turning patina. Forend cap colors have silvered out. Buttplate is a soft patina with pattern. Traces of color on lever and hammer. 95% fire blue on bolt and loading gate. 20-30% case colors on left side of frame with traces and pattern on right side of frame. Original oil finished walnut stocks are excellent, proud to metal, with no cracks or major chips and only light abrasions. Screw heads are fine. Bore is strong and clean. An extremely nice and scarce model 1886 in this caliber and condition. Factory letter confirms rifles original configuration.
