.32 caliber with a 24" barrel. The popular tip-up models were manufactured from the 1870’s to 1895. This is the scarcer model with matching walnut forend. Has the full octagon barrel. Sighting equipment includes a beech globe front, wind drift single blade rear, and long range tang sight with large disc. The barrel is a pleasing mix of blue and dark brown with strong legend. Factory nickel plated frame and trigger guard retain approximately 30% finish, balance dark chocolate brown. Walnut front and rear stock in excellent condition with no cracks and a heavy brass Swiss butt. Visible rifling but worn. Perfect lock up. Function flawless. These rifles are rarely seen with the walnut forend.
