This custom holster and cartirdge belt was handcrafted by the famous Bishop Leatherworks of El Paso, Texas for the MGM Studios in Hollywood, California. The back of the skirt is stamped "MGM W 825". It is a double loop made of dark russet leather and is decorated with dozens of silver studs and conchos with an ornate silver buckle. It is custom fit for a Colt Single Action Army with a 7-1/2" barrel with .45 caliber bullet loops. The rings show some use, in excellent as made condition. It would be interesting to watch some old Westerns, for if one could attribute it to a particular movie or actor, it would greatly enhance its value.
