.45 LC caliber with a 3" barrel. In 1987, Colt produced a special five gun series of Sheriff's models (Colt Single Action Army's manufactured without ejectors). These were produced with consecutive serial numbers, were finished in the full royal blue finish, with the gold medallion smooth walnut grips. They are all referred to as the Colt Single Action Army Sheriff's model. Some of the barrel lengths offered in this sheriff's model set were the only such examples manufactured during the Sheriff's model production. All of these revolvers are in as new condition in and out and may have the lightest of drag marks. Each gun comes in its original numbered box with paperwork, hang tags, and remain unfired. We are offering these as individual consecutive lots so they can be purchased individually if desired. This example sports the rare 3" barrel.
