.410 bore with an 8" barrel. The 'Handy Gun' was a favorite home defense and hunting weapon manufactured from 1931 to 1934. This is an early production gun that does not have the 'Handy Gun' stamp. Gun features all blued metal with checkered walnut grips and non-checkered walnut forend. This pistol shows virtually no use and retains most of the original factory blue finish with brilliant case colors on hammer. Wood stocks are as new. Checkering is sharp. Tip-up action is perfect. Bore is mint. This pistol is accompanied by the original 1968 BATF registration papers. These pistols are extremely scarce on today's market, as few were made and many were destroyed after the 1968 Gun Control Act. It would be impossible to find a finer condition all original example of this rare firearm.
