Barrel length 26", .22 long rifle. These fine rifles were manufactured between 1912-1932 and were built using the Model 44 drop breech action. They feature the military style fore-stock with rifle butt stock. Standard finish is blue with case color frame and lever. This gun has survived in phenomenal condition. The barrel retaining 98% original factory blue. Stocks are excellent with no cracks. 80% original case colors remain, some brilliant. This rifle retains the original factory rear peep sight and sports a Stevens No. 428 tube scope in Stevens adjustable mounts with a Springfield type sling with metal frogs. The action is perfect and a very good bore. Extremely fine condition, high quality, pre-war, single shot rifle.
