Manufactured 1894. .44-40 WCF with a 30" barrel. This 1873 .44 caliber musket is standard in all respects. Features include full length walnut forestock with walnut butt stock and carbine buttplate, full blued finish, three barrel bands and factory sling swivels. The rear sight is the military style folding ladder rear. Has a post front sight. All metal surfaces have turned a dark patina with some areas of light salt and pepper on barrel throughout. Walnut stocks are very good with the usual dings, but no cracks and are proud to metal with the original finish. Fine strong bore and perfect action.
