Cal .32 Winchester special. Barrel 20". Manufactured in 1940. This is a standard Model 1894 Carbine in all respects. Features: 20" round barrel, full magazine, sporting rear sight, ramp front sight (no hood), two barrel bands, blued finished, walnut stocks, steel shotgun butt plate. The metal surfaces retain approximately 90% of the original blued finish throughout with some patina on lever. The walnut stocks are excellent, proud to metal, with no cracks or chips, There is a line 3/4" from the butt that extends the entire circumference. It is as if a piece has been added at the end but the grain follows through and does not appear to be added but simply an incision. Has a fine bore and action. Should be a fine shooter with all the Pre War qualities
