The blue steel hook with internal firing mechanism and with trigger mechanism mounted in the eye. Shaft inscribed: H. Heineke/U.S. Pat. 253125. Length: 3 3/4-inches. Note: See page 261 of Firearms Curiosa by Winant for an illustration of the patent drawings. This is a rare example of one of the more interesting items we have ever seen. It is estimated approximately seven of these weapons exist. This particular example is in near mint condition.
