.45 ACP with a 5" barrel. This is a World War II era pistol. The serial number on the frame pre-dates Ithaca manufacture and is a Colt 1942 frame with an Ithaca slide. The frame has the "W.B." inspector mark of Waldemar Broberg who inspected Colt frames from November 1941 to June 1942. All other parts are proper GI issue, including the Keyes plastic grips. Gun retains approximately 75% of the original war time finish with high edge wear on slide and frame. Fine bore and action.
