.303 British, Barrel length 28". Manufactured in Quebec. This rifle was widely used by the Canadian forces during the first World War. Referred to the Model 1905 Mark II. Has the proper original patented rear sight, the hooded ramp front sight, blue finish with three piece walnut stock. Gun remains in excellent all original condition contains 95% of the original factory blue finish. Barrel bands have turned a soft blue brown patina. Action is perfect. Very good rifle bore. Walnut stock is near mint. Right side of stock has all the regimental marking and is dated 1908. Far above average example of a tough to find World War I rifle.
