Barrel length 32". Caliber 7.62x54mm rim. Standard Model 1891 manufactured by Westinghouse in New England in 1915 for the Imperial Russian Government. Bolt number does not match. Buttplate number matches. Magazine is not stamped. This is one of the rifles that stayed in the U.S. with the stock stamped U.S. with flaming bomb. Walnut stock and blued finish. These were used by the U.S. government for training subsequently surpluses to Bannerman's. Contains 90% of its blue finish with some light freckling. Walnut stock in very good condition with usual storage dings.
