Barrel length 7-1/2", .36 percussion caliber. Manufactured in 1863. Standard mid-Civil War production Navy, with New York barrel address and all matching numbers including wedge with the exception of loading lever which has been replaced. Gun is all grey patina with overall salt and pepper finish. The screws are burred. A partially visible cylinder scene. The one piece walnut grips show numerous abrasions but are proud to metal. Indexes properly with tight lock up. Strong rifling but black powder abrasion throughout. This Civil War era revolver comes in an altered military style holster with flap removed and much of the stitching is loose.
