This lot of two Colt revolvers represents Colt's earliest entries into the large caliber holster revolvers of the 1830's-40's. A) Serial No. 118. This revolver is a Navy Arms replica of the Colt Patterson holster model that features a 9" octagon barrel, six shot, blued finish, folding trigger, with smooth wood grips. Gun shows no sign of ever having been fired, but does have minor storage and high edge wear. B) Serial No. 795. This is a fine copy of the famous 1847 Walker Dragoon. It is a .44 caliber with a 9-1/4" barrel, six shot, with smooth walnut grips. The frame, loading lever and hammer retain traces of case colors. The cylinder has a perfect ranger scene, has a 9-1/4" octagon to round barrel that has been aged and finish removed to give the appearance of an original. The barrel is marked "U.S. 1847". Revolver was imported by Replica Arms and is in near new condition internally.
