Barrel length 19-3/4", .58 bore. Manufactured by G. Hanel (stamped on lock), barrel is stamped "Suhl (Germany) 1862". It has a two leaf folding rear sight, German Imperial proof on left side of barrel, a single barrel band, brass tipped ramrod, a built in bayonet rail on left side of barrel, wood stock, iron butt plate. This beautiful little carbine remains in excellent condition. Wood has a few minor dings. Metal is a smooth brown patina with no pitting. Strong clean rifled bore. It has the original leather sling. It has a checkered trigger. This little carbine measures 35-1/4" over total length.
