Barrel length 42", .69 percussion. Standard issue manufactured in Harpers Ferry in 1845 with US eagle on plate. VP proof on left side. Walnut stock with no visible cartouche. Butt plate stamped "US". Three bands. Tulip ramrod. All metal finished in the white, except lock. Has usual age freckling. Lock and hammer have turned brown patina. Very good bore with usual black powder residue. Stock is very good with usual abrasions. There is a chunk of wood missing on right wrist, at tang, behind hammer. Comes with original bayonet.
