5" barrel in .38 Super caliber. Manufactured in 1970. It is estimated that only 2% of total production of the Pre-Series 70 Colt Model 1911 A1s were manufactured in factory nickel chambered for the .38 Super, making it an extremely hard to find gun on the market. This example is all original, including grips, and retains approximately 99% original nickel with usual small storage marks. Comes in an original two piece box with instructions. Mint bore and action. Shows a light drag line.
