Barrel length is 4", caliber is 38 special. The Model 15-3 was introduced in 1967-1976. It is referred to as the K-38 Combat Masterpiece. Standard features include blued finish, adjustable rear sight, cased colored hammer and trigger and checkered walnut grips. This revolver is built on the square butt 'K' frame. The left side of frame is stamped "Property of Sacramento Sheriff." Remains in near new condition in and out with light drag line. Comes in original box numbered to gun. The standard catalog of Smith & Wesson lists this Police marked revolver.
