Barrel length 42-1/2", .75 smooth bore. Mid-19th century, percussion smooth bore musket features three barrel bands with integral front sight, bayonet latch on fore-end, it has a cylinder style ramrod, lock plate is stamped "852", sling swivels in trigger bow and middle band, bands have touchmarks, barrel has numerous Austrian proofs on right side, hardwood stock is very good with usual dents. Barrel was finished in the white and has turned to a spotty brown patina. Very good bore with usual abrasions
