Barrel length 42", .69 percussion. Lock is stamped "Springfield 1847" with Springfield eagle. Left side of barrel has VP proof. Barrel was finished in the white and exhibits nice clean aged appearance. Barrel bands have been re-blued. Lock and hammer have been re-blued. Trigger guard is a dull blue grey patina. Butt plate re-blued. Wood is refinished. The wrist and fore-end have been finely checkered. Bore is very good.
