Manufactured in Norwich, Connecticut 1858 to 1867. It is a second model with round barrel and fluted cylinder. Approximately 3,000 manufactured. It is a five shot, single action, .31 caliber percussion with 4" barrel, engraved frame and square butt walnut grips. Stamped "Bacon Mfg. Co. Norwich. Conn." on top of barrel with a single bead brass front sight. Indexes properly. Strong rifled bore. Metal is basically gun metal grey with some pitting on right side of frame. Excellent original grips.
