Extremely high quality single shot .54 bore percussion pistol manufactured in Schmalkalden, Germany in the early to mid-19th century. Features a 7" part octagon barrel engraved "B. & E.W. Pistor". Features an engraved brass trigger guard, buttplate and thimbles with beautifully carved and incised walnut stock with horn forend tip. Wood is excellent with no cracks. Sharp checkering. Smooth bore. Single brass front sight and a decorative brass sideplate. Fine working order.
