Barrel length 26", .32-40 caliber. This rifle was manufactured in 1905 but looks as if it was made yesterday. It is one of the finest Model 1894 rifles we have seen. Standard features include: octagon barrel, full magzine, standard sporting front and rear sights, blue finish, case color hammer and lever, walnut stocks, crescent rifle butt plate. It is chambered for the very popular .32-40 cartridge. Overall, this rifle retains approx 95-97% original factory blue finish, even the fore-end cap retains all of the original blue. The frame has some very minor storage scuffs. The lever and hammer retain nearly all their brilliant case colors. Walnust stocks are near mint, proud to metal, with minor storage impressions. The butt plate has darkened. Bore is near mint and the action is perfect. If you collect Model 1894 Winchesters, it would be nearly impossible to find a nicer example. Even the loading gate has the original fire blue and does not appear to have seen a cartridge.
